Our Scouts do a fundraiser every year, they put up flags on all the holidays at each house, it is really kind of cool to see all the flags each morning of the holidays, especially Remembrance Day, it is a special day for all of us, and we gladly take our turn every year on Remembrace Day to put up and take down flags in our ward. Justin had to work this year, so Brad and I were on our own in the morning but recruited Wyatt for the take down!!!!! It was a Beautiful morning with a glorious sun rise!!!! We were a little sad we have a little family tradition of putting up flags and then we go out for Breakfast as a little family, but without Justin, we just settled for Hot Chocolate and Dounuts ( Bradley and I experimented Sunday afternoon to see if we could master homemade dounuts, they turned out not so bad, but needing some improvement!!!!) Poor Justin we start the mess and he usally comes in the middle and ends up finishing and cleaning up!!! You got to love us, we always get wonderful ideas and end up way over our heads!!!) Yes back to Remembrace Day flags.... Brad and I managed to get them all up!!!! But as the day went on the wind decided to blow and it was aweful by the time we had to pick them up, thank goodness for Wyatt because Brad and I couldn't have done it alone..... The wind was whipping those flags around like you wouldn't believe and it was BITTER COLD!!! And poor Wyatt and Brad had to lay in the bed of the truck to hold the stupid flags in .... WHAT AN ADVENTURE, but you know little boys, they had a blast and thought it was awesome fun with TONS OF LAUGHTER!!!! They were giggleing like little girls...
To much fun!!!!

Halloween 2007
Brad had fun on Halloween, he dressed as a Rockin' Hot Cowboy for school. He decided this year to just have friends over and have a party. The went Air soft gun fighting for an hour or so, and then came back here for a Halloween supper of Quesidias and treats, Justin was the Quesida maker and Kent, Kristi and the kids came trick or treating and decided to stay for supper!! We had a fun visit and some good entertainment when Kent decided to try the air soft gun on Kristi at short range!!! Well you know Kristi, it turned into a full fledged air soft gun fight in my Kitchen!!!! The kids thought that was hilarious!!!! Good times had by all!!!!

The Flu!!!!!!!
Well a couple of weeks ago, on Sunday morning Justin woke up and said those famous words "I don't think I feel good" and BOOM!!!! The stomach flu!!!!!! He was down all day with it and Bradley and I stayed right away and I immediatley started washing everything, because Bradley will pick any infection up for sure!! Well about 6pm "Mom I don't feel very well" and away we went with Brad...... and it hit his poor little body brutally hard!!!! He just has absolutley no immune system. By about 9:30pm it was out of control and I took Brad to emergancy and Dr. Low started him on IV , gravol and something else to help with the nausea... by 11:00 they still couldn't get him to slow down, so they admitted him. So all night Sunday and by Monday they had the nausea under control but they wanted to keep on top of it and keep him hydrated so they kept him Monday and Tuesday. (Monday night in the Hospital, guess who else got the flu??? ME!!!!!!!! I felt like such a loser, but what do you do!!!! So I had to be on IV too!!! How embarrassing!!!!) So Tueday night we both got to go home.....But on the up side we are all better now and going for our flu shots this week! One wonderful thing came out of it though, we discovered Brad has some very awesome friends, He got letters, cards, candy grams, and a candy boquet. I swear half the junior high school signed one of the cards.... it was so awesome that he has friends that care for him so much!!!! Brad was a little embarrased to have the attention, but we just had to keep telling him that is what friends do for each other!!!!
